Taekwondo Kyorugi Coach - Women’s & Girls’ Programs

Above & Beyond Martial Arts is recruiting a skilled Taekwondo Kyorugi (sparring) coach to develop our women’s and girls’ programs in Riyadh.

We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching children and beginners while also having the technical and tactical expertise to develop competitive athletes. Experienced coaches and former national-team or international athletes transitioning into coaching are welcome to apply.

Your responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging, age-appropriate Taekwondo sessions for children, beginners and adults.

• Develop athletes’ sparring technique, timing, footwork, tactical decision-making and competition readiness.

• Plan progressive training, physical preparation and individual athlete-development programs.

• Track progress, provide constructive feedback and support competition preparation and match analysis.

• Build positive relationships with students and parents, helping students stay motivated and committed.

• Achieve agreed personal-training and student-retention targets, maintain strong athlete engagement, and help attract and enrol new students.

• Actively promote Above & Beyond through participation in exhibitions, events, school and community activations, training camps, and marketing activities.

What we are looking for

• A verifiable minimum 2nd Dan black belt; 3rd Dan preferred.

• Strong World Taekwondo Kyorugi experience, supported by coaching results or a credible competitive background.

• The ability to teach and explain effectively-not simply demonstrate techniques.

• Confident coaching communication in either English or Arabic; both languages are not required.

• A background in Physical Education, Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning, physical preparation or athlete development is strongly preferred.

• A professional, supportive approach to working with children and developing athletes.

Location and compensation

The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. International applicants willing to relocate are welcome.

Monthly salary: SAR 4,000-6,000, depending on qualifications, experience and demonstrated coaching ability. Other employment-package details will be discussed during selection.

Appointment is subject to applicable Saudi employment, visa and coaching-registration requirements.
