The role

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to handle advanced accounting tasks and to supervise accountants and clerks whose work covers all branches of the Group.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements for branches across the Group

• Supervise and review the work of accountants, cost & inventory accountants, and account clerks

• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies across branches

• Support the Head Accountant with budgeting, variance analysis and audits

• Ensure accurate recording of invoicing, payments, and accounts receivable/payable

• Assist in VAT and Zakat filings and statutory compliance

• Use AI agents and automation tools to support reconciliations, variance analysis and report preparation, validating outputs for accuracy before they are used

Requirements:

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience - 5-8 years of accounting experience

Technical skills - Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting

Soft skills - Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage a team

AI agent skills - Comfortable using AI agents and automation tools (Copilot, Claude/ChatGPT-based assistants, RPA bots) for reconciliations and reporting, and able to review AI-generated output for accuracy

Certifications - SOCPA is required; CMA is an advantage
