Years of Experience: At least 10 years of experience in electrical works and construction projects.

Job Objective: To supervise the execution of electrical works on the project and monitor the installation of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with approved engineering drawings and technical specifications, while strictly adhering to quality, safety standards, and the project schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the execution of electrical works and monitor on-site work teams.
• Review electrical shop drawings, technical specifications, and material submittals.
• Supervise the implementation of electrical power systems and electrical distribution networks.
• Monitor the installation of lighting systems, power supplies, electrical outlets, and distribution boards.
• Supervise earthing (grounding) and lightning protection systems, as per the project scope.
• Monitor low-current systems-such as fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and data networks-according to project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers of other disciplines to avoid clashes between various works.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure their compliance with technical specifications and the project schedule.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, relevant codes, and technical standards.
• Follow up on testing, commissioning, and startup procedures for electrical systems.
• Coordinate with the consultant for the approval of executed works and materials used.
• Monitor project requirements regarding electrical materials and equipment.
• Prepare technical reports and work progress reports.
• Ensure the implementation of quality control and occupational health and safety (HSE) procedures on-site.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and final handover of the project.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in electrical works and contracting projects.
• Strong experience in the execution and installation of electrical systems in projects.
• Proficiency in reading and reviewing shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of approved electrical codes and standards, such as IEC standards, according to project requirements.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in managing work teams and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills.
