Job Description

Overview

The Senior ELV Engineer will be responsible for the design review, installation, testing, commissioning, integration, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects. The role requires ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Your role

• Lead the engineering, design review, and implementation of ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Supervise installation activities and ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover activities for all ELV systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and standards.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations.
• Support project planning, cost control, and resource management activities.

About you

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications related to ELV/Security Systems are preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in ELV engineering within large building, mixed-use, commercial, airport, metro, rail, healthcare, or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior engineering or supervisory role.
• Experience with multidisciplinary project coordination and stakeholder management.
• GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of international standards such as IEC, NFPA, TIA/EIA, BICSI, and local Saudi regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with ELV system integration platforms and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications.
