About the job:

Kent is looking for a Rigger I to be based in the Eastern Province

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Load weight, center of gravity, and dimensions
• Rigging hardware configuration and capacity
• Crane configuration and load chart suitability
• Must implement rigging safety compliance with client and company in accordance with the approved procedure.
• Communicating with the rigging and construction team.
• Breaking down rigging equipment and conducting post-rigging inspections.
• Approve and ensure the proper identification and calculation of lift arrangements and capacities.
• Approve and ensure proper calculation of required sling size based on properly identified load weight.
• Attach loads utilizing proper Center of Gravity (COG), select proper hitch to hold and control the load, to include tandem lifts, man-basket, and all other designated critical lift operations.
• Ensure and approve detailed inspection of all rigging equipment prior to use to ensure no defect with all equipment used.
• Set up and perform the designed lifting plan to ensure both rigging and loads are protected during the lift.
• Perform correct hand signaling and deliver proper radio communication to ensure proper load control
• Crane load charts capacity in the creation of lifting plans
• Be a Team player and a leader.
• Excellent Communications skills.
• Ensure compliance with:
• Saudi Aramco GI 7.025, GI 7.026, GI 7.027, GI 7.028, GI 7.029, GI 7.030
• Saudi Aramco Construction Safety Manual (CSM)- III-8 Sling and Rigging hardware and III-7 Cranes and Lifting Equipment.

Your knowledge/ Skills, Education, and Experience

• Aramco Approved Rigger Level 1
• At Least 5 years of experience as Rigger 1 in Saudi Aramco Project(s)
• Ability to adapt to change. Must be a good listener, able to plan and organize a schedule and possess the ability to make decisive decisions in a timely manner.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, all in English, write simple correspondence,
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and/or employees of the organization
• Understand to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and problem solving.
• Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Communication:

• Very good command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
