Construction Manager - Civil

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all construction activities related to Substation projects. 

• Review and interpret civil designs, drawings, and specifications for Utility/Substation/infrastructure Projects.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and client requirements. 

• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule milestones. 

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, HSE, subcontractors, and client representatives. 

• Lead site teams and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials. 

• Oversee contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure quality and productivity targets are achieved. 

• Conduct regular site inspections and progress review meetings. 

• Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations and company safety procedures. 

• Manage interfaces between various disciplines and stakeholders. 

• Review and approve method statements, work procedures, and construction plans. Identify project risks and develop mitigation measures. 

• Support testing, commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities. 

• Prepare construction reports, progress updates, and management presentations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

• Minimum 12+ years of construction experience, including substations, utilities, or infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, project scheduling, and contract administration.

• Experience working with international standards, Saudi regulations, and utility projects.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera P6, and project management tools.
