Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll and ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi labor regulations.
- Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, three-way PO matching, and supplier payments.
- Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including payroll, accounts payable, petty cash, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare bank transfer files and ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Monitor exploration expenditures, drilling costs, and contractor invoices to ensure accuracy and cost control.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, budget variance analysis, and support forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Support JV cash calls, financial reporting, and audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (partially or fully completed) is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
Experience And Skills Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, payroll, accounts payable, or finance operations.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Pronto, or similar financial systems.
- Knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable, general ledger, and month-end activities.
- Experience in mining, exploration, construction, or industrial environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

About The Team
The Jabal Sayid copper operation is located 350 kilometers north-east of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It’s a 50/50 joint venture operation with Ma’aden. The first shipment of copper concentrate occurred in December 2015, and the mine commenced commercial production in July 2016.
