تعلن مجموعة SJ (Surbana Jurong Group)، إحدى أكبر الشركات الاستشارية الهندسية متعددة التخصصات عالمياً، عن توفر وظيفة مهندس بيئي للانضمام إلى فريق البيئة والاستدامة في مكتبها بمنطقة الرياض، المملكة العربية السعودية. سيدعم المهندس تقييمات الأثر البيئي والتصاريح والامتثال وإدارة النفايات ومبادرات الاستدامة ضمن مشاريع البنية التحتية والتطوير.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • إعداد ومراجعة تقييمات الأثر البيئي (EIA)، خطط الإدارة البيئية (CEMP)، ووثائق الامتثال البيئي.
  • دعم أنشطة التصاريح والتراخيص البيئية مع المركز الوطني للرقابة على الالتزام البيئي (NCEC)، وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة (MWAN)، والجهات المختصة.
  • ضمان الامتثال للوائح NCEC، معايير مؤسسة التمويل الدولية (IFC)، وأفضل الممارسات البيئية الدولية.
  • إجراء تقييمات بيئية، دراسات مخاطر، ورصد جودة الهواء، المياه، التربة، الضوضاء، والاهتزازات.
  • دعم مبادرات إدارة النفايات والاستدامة عبر دورة حياة المشاريع.
  • استخدام أدوات نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS) لتحديد القيود البيئية ودعم تخطيط المشاريع.
  • التعاون مع فرق متعددة التخصصات لدمج المتطلبات البيئية في تصميم المشاريع وتنفيذها.
  • المساهمة في إعداد العروض وأنشطة تطوير الأعمال.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة البيئية، العلوم البيئية، أو تخصص ذي صلة.
  • خبرة مهنية تتراوح بين 3 إلى 7 سنوات في الاستشارات البيئية أو مشاريع البنية التحتية.
  • معرفة قوية بتقييم الأثر البيئي (EIA)، التصاريح البيئية، الامتثال، وأنظمة الإدارة البيئية.
  • خبرة في العمل مع اللوائح البيئية السعودية ومتطلبات المركز الوطني للرقابة على الالتزام البيئي (NCEC).
  • إتقان استخدام نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS) ومهارات متقدمة في كتابة التقارير الفنية.
  • خبرة في إدارة النفايات الصلبة (ميزة إضافية).
  • التسجيل لدى الهيئة السعودية للمهندسين (SCE) يفضل.
  • حصول على شهادة IEMA أو أي اعتماد بيئي معترف به (مفضل للغاية).

About The Role

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our growing Environment & Sustainability team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a replacement position supporting a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, master planning, environmental, and development projects.

The successful candidate will support environmental assessment, permitting, compliance monitoring, waste management, and sustainability initiatives while working closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), and environmental compliance documentation.
  • Support environmental permitting and licensing activities with NCEC, MWAN, and relevant authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with NCEC regulations, IFC standards, and international environmental best practices.
  • Conduct environmental assessments, risk studies, and monitoring related to air quality, water quality, soil, noise, and vibration.
  • Support waste management and sustainability initiatives across project lifecycles.
  • Utilize GIS tools to identify environmental constraints and support project planning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental requirements into project design and delivery.
  • Support proposal preparation and business development activities.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
  • 3 to 7 years of relevant environmental consulting or infrastructure project experience.
  • Strong knowledge of EIA, environmental permitting, compliance, and environmental management systems.
  • Experience working with Saudi environmental regulations and NCEC requirements.
  • GIS proficiency and strong technical report writing skills.
  • Solid waste management experience is advantageous.


Professional Accreditation

  • Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration preferred.
  • IEMA or another recognized environmental accreditation is highly desirable.
