About the job:

Kent is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to join our growing engineering Team within the Oil & Gas market in Khurais, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a pivotal opportunity to help shape a new and expanding team, strengthen our technical capability, and enhance Kent’s presence and reputation across the sector.

Role Summary:

An Electrical Engineer shall support the Site engineering, design, and execution of Projects in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and international codes. The role involves assisting in design documents reviews, preparing engineering deliverables, supporting construction and commissioning activities and perform corrosion control and cathodic protection-related responsibilities as a NACE certified Engineer

Details / responsibilities

• Review of electrical systems design package including power distribution systems, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
• Preparation of engineering deliverables such as single line diagrams (SLD), load schedules, cable schedules, and layout drawings.
• Ensure all designs and documents comply with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards, Specification, NACE standards and international codes.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor documents.
• Prepare Procurement documents MTA, MR, TBE etc..
• Prepare redline markups and support as-built documentation (including I-Plant requirements).
• Identify and report technical issues or deviations and prepare technical queries.
• Support preparation of reports, method statements, and work procedures.
• Support testing and commissioning activities for cathodic protection systems, grounding systems, transformers, rectifiers, and associated electrical equipment.
• Review coating inspection reports, pipe-to-soil potential readings, continuity test reports, and CP system performance data.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation and Solid Works

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
• NACE Certified
