Primary objective:
The core purpose of the Hard services Supervisor is to maintain Misk Schools physical environment by monitoring the performance, auditing and approving work delivered by the hard services service provider
Areas of responsibility:
- Supervise the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems and collaborate with service providers to ensure the optimal performance of buildings.
- Resolve requests as they arise through the coordination between staff and hard services service provider
- Do regular audit inspections to ensure smooth operation and raise Work Orders for reactive maintenance requirements and direct all reactive and corrective maintenance activities for MEP assets.
- Ensure all service providers are aware and compliant with Misk Schools Policies
- Coordinate periodic service providers meetings and establish project plans and work timetables.
- Ensure updating of technical documentation like standard procedures, work instructions, forms checklists, etc. for finalizing maintenance practices.
- Coordinate & follow up with the procurement on Items requests and delivery.
- Assist and advise on the diagnosis of technical issues and costs.
- Review and evaluate Preventative Maintenance submitted by service providers, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
- Implement a policy of continuous improvement and innovate the scope and quality of service delivery standards.
- Conduct all activities within the service standards established by the Head of FM and ensure the equipment performance and energy efficiency.
- Embed Misk Schools culture and ethics in all the activities.
- Collaboration with the Hard Services lead to establish and achieve personal performance objectives.
- Maintain the stakeholder as the focus of all activities.
- Work flexibly according to the needs of the organization.
- Support in Innovating systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support in development projects management and supervision with all aspects of progress follow up, T&C witnessing, Snagging up to the closeout documentation review.
- Ensure As built drawings are updated for any new installation works.
- Ensure the implementation of the contract terms by the Hard Services service provider
- Supports the tendering process including site visits for all major services to MEP equipment maintenance.
- Assist in interviewing of the Hard Services Provider (new members) to ensure a skilled team for MEP assets maintenance.
- Carries out on-call responsibility for incidents and emergencies related to MEP assets.
- Any other duties reasonably requested by the Hard services lead
Safeguarding:
- The post holder will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and the staff code of conduct. They will directly support the designated safeguarding lead as a priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at the school.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical) or any related field (essential).
- Facility management professional certification.
- LEED Certificate is Preferred.
Experience:
- +4 years relevant experience with 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong Technical Background of Building’s MEP systems and Maintenance Techniques
- Experience with Multinationals community Evidence of good organizational skills, including recordkeeping
- Proficiency in the use of Google workspace, Windows, IOS and MS office, with user experience of CAFM/CMMS systems and Dashboards (Maximo experience is preferable )
