Primary objective:
The Human Resource Specialist will support the recruitment process and onboarding activities, will lead HR projects for the Shared Services departments.
Areas of responsibility:
- Maintain, review and update job descriptions.
- Conduct a job evaluation process.
- Participates in designing organizational/departmental structure or restructuring.
- Responsible for advertising and job postings for open positions.
- Review and assess candidates’ suitability for the required post.
- Conduct phone screens and gather the requirements such as education, experience, training, job skills and salary.
- Schedule interviews and keep calendars for all hiring teams and candidates.
- Greet and assist onsite interviewees.
- Coordinate hiring activities with internal & external clients.
- Provide post-interview information to hiring managers.
- Review pre-employment paperwork.
- Update the manpower plan in coordination with head function.
- Act as vocal point between Misk Schools and recruitment agencies.
- Follow the practices of safer recruitment.
- Follow up with the government relations regarding visa requirements for international hires.
- Follow up with visa agencies to ensure that the process is running smoothly, and all the needed documents provided.
- Ensure all invoices related to Recruitment raised for payment.
- Conduct new hire onboarding (e.g., preparing induction employee profile, delivering the orientation program) if needed.
- Designs and maintains the HR data model and ensures that just one source or master data exists for each HR process.
- Participates in various HR Projects and delivers the source data for the analysis in the project team.
- Preparing and communicating documents within the hiring process (e.g. interview assessments, job offer letters and employment contracts, etc.).
- Maintain partnerships with all departments in order to understand their business, be aware of their staffing needs.
- Work as a team member with colleagues across the organization.
- Maintain the stakeholder as the focus of all activities.
- Work flexibly according to the needs of the organization.
- Innovate systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Undertake additional duties as and when required by the line manager.
Safeguarding:
- The post holder will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and the staff code of conduct. They will directly support the designated safeguarding lead as a priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at the school.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or any related field (essential).
Experience:
- +5 years relevant experience.
- Experience in mass recruiting.
- Creating dashboards and analyzing data.
- Worked closely with local and international recruitment agencies.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding.
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English with colleagues and external agencies.
- Ability to work sensitively with people from other cultures.
