Primary objective:
The Recruitment Officer will support the recruitment and onboarding activities. Ultimately, The Recruitment Officer is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle supported by the talent acquisition manager.
Areas of responsibility:
- Build and maintain candidates’ database and develop a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Organize employment requisitions.
- Responsible for advertising and job postings for open positions.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and employee referrals.
- Review and assess candidates’ suitability for the required post.
- Conduct phone screens and gather the requirements such as education,experience, training, job skills and salary.
- Provide a positive candidate experience and act as a Misk Schools ambassador.
- Schedule interviews and keep calendars for all hiring teams and candidates.
- Conduct sociometric hiring tests.
- Greet and assist onsite interviewees.
- Coordinate hiring activities with internal & external clients.
- Provide post-interview information to hiring managers.
- Prepare pre-employment and new hire paperwork for processing.
- Follow the practices of safer recruitment.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and internal policies throughout the recruitment process. Follow up with the government relations regarding visa requirements for international hires.
- Conduct new hire onboarding (e.g., preparing induction employee profile, delivering the orientation program) if needed.
- Tracking and updating recruitment activity status in a weekly report that is presented to the Recruitment team and relevant departments.
- Maintain partnerships with all departments in order to understand their business, be aware of their recruitment needs.
- Collaborate and build relationships among recruitment agencies.
- Maintain calendars for the Recruitment team.
- Work as a team member with colleagues across the organisation.
- Maintain the stakeholder as the focus of all activities.
- Work flexibly according to the needs of the organisation.
- Undertake additional duties as and when required by the line manager.
Safeguarding:
- The post holder will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and the staff code of conduct. They will directly support the Designated Safeguarding Lead as a priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at the school.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or any related field (essential).
Experience:
- +2 years relevant experience.
- Experience in mass recruiting.
- Worked closely with local and international recruitment agencies.
Skills, knowledge and abilities:
- Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment,
- onboarding).
