Accountabilities

As an Accountant, you will provide essential accounting support for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and effective management of financial processes. You will work independently while collaborating with internal teams to deliver dependable accounting solutions.

• Reconcile client bank statements and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Manage income and expenditure accounts to ensure proper financial tracking.
• Prepare financial reports based on accounting data and business activities.
• Handle tax filings, remittances, and other financial compliance requirements.
• Support the implementation, management, and optimization of accounting software systems.
• Work with QuickBooks Online to manage client accounting activities and reporting processes.
• Provide accurate financial information and maintain organized documentation.
• Support both non-profit and for-profit organizations with their accounting needs.
  
  

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with non-profit accounting is preferred.
• CPA certification or equivalent professional designation is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounting processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when managing financial information.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
