Role Description The Restaurant Waiter - Waitress is responsible for providing attentive and efficient food and beverage service to guests in the outlet, including poolside, lounge, and beach areas.  The Restaurant Waiter - Waitress, acts as a versatile and essential support member of the team, tasked with ensuring a high standard of guest service, maintaining the cleanliness and order of restaurant FOH areas, and contributing to an overall positive and seamless guest experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or food and beverage role within a hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant is preferred

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming dining experience.
• Present menus, answer questions about food and beverage offerings, and accurately take guest orders.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally while maintaining the highest service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, anticipate guest needs, and respond promptly to requests.
• Present guest bills and process payments accurately when required.
• Assist with the daily setup and breakdown of the restaurant, including arranging tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the dining area throughout the shift, including clearing and resetting tables.
• Ensure service stations are fully stocked with essential supplies, including cutlery, napkins, condiments, and other operating items.
• Clear used dishes, glassware, and linen promptly, ensuring they are transferred to the stewarding team.
• Communicate guest orders and special requests accurately to the kitchen and bar teams.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
• Comply with all restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
