ISM PREFAB is looking for a qualified Firefighting Engineer to join our team in Al-Khobar.
We are a leading modular and prefabricated construction company with 10+ years of experience, serving major clients across Saudi Arabia and the GCC including Saudi Aramco, SABIC, Red Sea Global, and the Saudi Energy.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- NEBOSH certification (required)
- NFPA certification or Saudi Civil Defense approvals experience is a strong plus
- Any additional fire safety or HSE certifications are an advantage
- Strong knowledge of firefighting systems (sprinklers, suppression, alarms, hydrants)
- Familiarity with ARAMCO, SABIC, or government fire safety standards is a plus
✅ Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in the Saudi Arabian market
- Experience in modular, prefab, or industrial construction is a plus
- Transferable Iqama (required)
- Available for interview in Al-Khobar
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and oversee firefighting and fire protection systems
- Ensure all systems comply with Saudi Civil Defense regulations and international standards
- Coordinate with project and engineering teams during design and execution phases
- Conduct fire risk assessments and safety inspections on site
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and system maintenance plans
- Support HSE compliance across all active project sites

Job Description and Plus Points
- Demonstrated experience in fire protection engineering, including the design, review, and coordination of firefighting and fire alarm systems for industrial, commercial, or modular buildings.
- Knowledge of quantitative risk methods and process safety principles to assess fire and explosion risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Experience with alarm systems and IP CCTV, including integration with fire and safety systems for monitoring, detection, and incident response.
- Understanding of security and safety concepts related to Retail Loss Prevention or asset protection in facilities, where applicable.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IBC, local civil defense regulations) and ability to apply them in design and site activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in engineering design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) for preparing fire system drawings and layouts.
