Job Summary:

We are a dynamic sports organization seeking objective, authoritative, and physically fit individuals to oversee our football matches. The primary purpose of this role is to maintain the integrity of the game, ensure strict compliance with established rules, and guarantee a safe, competitive environment for all participants on the pitch. This role is highly suited for university students or recent graduates with a strong passion for sports administration and on-field management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Game Management: Monitor live match play to ensure all rules, regulations, and guidelines are strictly adhered to by all players and coaching staff.
• Decision Making: Make immediate, impartial, and accurate calls regarding fouls, penalties, scoring, and out-of-bounds plays during high-speed action.
• Time Control: Act as the official timekeeper when required, managing game duration, half-times, and stoppage times efficiently.
• Conflict Resolution: Maintain absolute control over the match environment. Mediate disputes between players, manage emotions on the field, and issue appropriate disciplinary actions for unsportsmanlike conduct.
• Pre-Match Duties: Conduct thorough inspections of the playing surface, match balls, and player equipment prior to kick-off to ensure safety and compliance.
• Reporting: Submit detailed post-match reports outlining the final score, any disciplinary actions taken, and incident logs to the sports operations committee.
• Collaboration: Work seamlessly with sideline staff, event coordinators, and medical personnel to ensure smooth match day operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Knowledge: Comprehensive and deep understanding of football rules, mechanics, and competitive standards.
• Physical Fitness: High level of physical stamina, agility, and endurance to keep up with continuous, fast-paced on-field action.
• Mental Agility: Exceptional ability to remain focused, neutral, and make split-second decisions under extreme pressure.
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with an authoritative yet professional demeanor to command respect and effectively instruct players.
• Background: Currently enrolled university/school students or recent alumni with a background or strong interest in sports are highly encouraged to apply.
• Availability: Flexible schedule with the ability to commit to evening and weekend match days.
