تعلن شركة Oivan عن توفر فرصة وظيفية في الرياض (السعودية) لمسمى Database Administrator (DBA) مع تفضيل للمرشحين السعوديين.
نبذة عن الوظيفة
نبحث عن مسؤول قواعد بيانات سعودي بخبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في أنشطة إدارة قواعد البيانات باستخدام أطر مثل PostgreSQL Patroni وpgbouncer وHAProxy وMongoDB. ستعمل مباشرة في مشاريع عالية التأثير ضمن فريق يعتمد منهجية Agile Scrum، وتقديم حلول تقنية عالية الجودة تتماشى مع أهداف المنظمة وتوقعات العملاء. سيكون مقر عملك في موقع العميل بالرياض، وتتطلب الوظيفة إجادة اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تثبيت وتهيئة وترقية وتحديث وترحيل وإدارة قواعد البيانات المؤسسية عبر منصات متعددة (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL/MariaDB, SQL Server).
- إدارة عمليات قواعد البيانات اليومية وضمان استقرار المنصات وجاهزيتها للإنتاج.
- تصميم وتنفيذ وصيانة حلول التوفر العالي (HA) والتعافي من الكوارث (DR) باستخدام PostgreSQL Patroni وpgbouncer وHAProxy وMongoDB Replica Sets وGalera Cluster.
- تكوين ودعم النسخ المتماثل والفشل والتبديل والنسخ الاحتياطي والاستعادة لتقليل وقت التوقف وفقدان البيانات.
- دعم طبولوجيا HA/DR المؤسسية وقبول تشغيل بيئات قواعد البيانات المرنة.
- إدارة إستراتيجية النسخ الاحتياطي والاسترداد باستخدام pgBackRest لـ PostgreSQL وأدوات النسخ الاحتياطي الأصلية للمحركات الأخرى.
- التحقق من إجراءات الاستعادة وضمان جاهزية DR من خلال الاختبار والدعم التشغيلي.
- مراقبة وتحسين أداء قواعد البيانات من خلال ضبط الاستعلامات والفهرسة وتحليل خطط التنفيذ والتخطيط للسعة.
- استكشاف مشكلات الإنتاج وإصلاحها وتحديد الاختناقات وتحسين كفاءة قواعد البيانات وقابلية التوسع.
- تنفيذ وصيانة ضوابط أمان قواعد البيانات بما في ذلك التشفير (عند التخزين وأثناء النقل) وTLS/SSL وضوابط الوصول وإدارة المستخدمين/الأدوار والتدقيق والتحصين.
- دعم عمليات قواعد البيانات الآمنة المتوافقة مع أفضل الممارسات التشغيلية والأمنية للمؤسسة.
- التعاون مع فرق البنية التحتية والتطبيقات والعمليات في عمليات الترحيل والنشر واستكشاف الأخطاء والدعم الإنتاجي.
- التواصل بوضوح بشأن الحوادث والمخاطر والهندسة المعمارية والتوصيات التشغيلية.
- مهام إضافية للنمو: أتمتة إدارة قواعد البيانات باستخدام Shell/Bash وPython وAnsible وTerraform وGit/GitHub وCI/CD pipelines.
- توحيد عمليات النشر وتقليل الجهد اليدوي وتحسين قابلية التكرار عبر البيئات من خلال الأتمتة.
- العمل في بيئات خوادم Linux وWindows لدعم البنية التحتية لقواعد البيانات والأدوات التشغيلية.
- استخدام أدوات المراقبة والتشغيل للحفاظ على صحة الخدمة ودعم الكشف الاستباقي عن المشكلات.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- خبرة عملية لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في تثبيت وتهيئة وترقية وتحديث وترحيل وإدارة قواعد البيانات.
- الأفضلية للمرشحين السعوديين (Saudi nationals preferred).
- إجادة اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية بطلاقة.
- الالتزام بالعمل في موقع العميل بالرياض (دوام كامل).
- خبرة سابقة في منهجيات Agile Scrum.

What We Need
At Oivan, we are looking for a Saudi Database Administrator with at least three years of experience in database management activities using frameworks such as PostgreSQL Patroni, pgbouncer, HAProxy, MongoDB.

What You'll Do
Database lifecycle management - as a DBA we want you to focus on the following responsibilities:
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, migrate, and administer enterprise databases across multiple platforms, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL/MariaDB, and SQL Server.
- Manage day-to-day database operations and ensure database platforms are stable, available, and production-ready
- Design, implement, and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for database platforms. This includes technologies such as PostgreSQL Patroni, pgbouncer, HAProxy, MongoDB Replica Sets, and Galera Cluster.
- Configure and support replication, failover, switchover, backup, and restore mechanisms to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Support enterprise HA/DR topologies and operational acceptance of resilient database environments.
- Own backup and recovery strategy execution using tools such as pgBackRest for PostgreSQL and native database backup tools for other engines.
- Validate restore procedures and ensure DR readiness through testing and operational support.
- Monitor and optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, execution plan analysis, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify bottlenecks, and improve database efficiency and scalability
- Implement and maintain database security controls, including encryption at rest and in transit, TLS/SSL, access controls, user/role management, auditing, and hardening.
- Support secure database operations aligned with enterprise operational and security best practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and operations teams on migrations, deployments, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Communicate clearly on incidents, risks, architecture, and operational recommendations.
- Automate database administration and operational tasks using Shell/Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Standardize deployments, reduce manual effort, and improve repeatability across environments through automation.
- Work across Linux and Windows server environments to support database infrastructure and operational tooling.
- Use monitoring and operational tools to maintain service health and support proactive issue detection.
- Hands-on experience in database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, migration, and administration
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL Patroni, pgbouncer, HAProxy, MongoDB Replica Sets, MySQL Galera Cluster, and SQL Server Always On Availability Groups
- Experience with High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), replication, failover, and backup & recovery strategies using pgBackRest (PostgreSQL) and native database backup tools.
- Expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience in Database Security, Data Encryption (TDE, TLS/SSL, encryption at rest/in transit), user and role management, access controls, auditing, and security hardening.
- Automation Skills: Shell/Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Windows and Linux administration, database monitoring tools, and enterprise operational best practice
