المهام والمسؤوليات

  • تنفيذ المهام الموكلة وفقاً لجداول التنظيف المحددة.
  • جمع مواد وأدوات التنظيف المناسبة من المشرف.
  • فحص المعدات يومياً للتأكد من سلامتها وإبلاغ المشرف أو المسؤول الأعلى بأي أعطال فوراً.
  • المساعدة في تجهيز وفك مناطق الخدمة لجميع المناسبات الخاصة.
  • تنظيف المواقد والأفران والشوايات والثلاجات باستخدام محاليل التنظيف والفرش.
  • غسل الأواني مثل القدور والمقالي والصواني يدوياً باستخدام المنظفات، وغسل الصحون والأكواب وأدوات المائدة يدوياً أو آلياً. تلميع الأدوات من حين لآخر، وتصفيتها وتجفيفها وتكديسها بعد الغسل.
  • نقل الإمدادات الغذائية مثل اللحوم والخضروات والفواكه والأغذية المعلبة من المخزن أو المجمدة إلى المطبخ باستخدام عربة أو سلة، وإعادة الفائض إلى المخزن أو المجمدة.
  • المساعدة في تجهيز الطعام مثل خلط الحساء وغسل وتقشير الخضروات والمحاريات.
  • المساعدة في تجهيز وفك مناطق الخدمة لجميع المناسبات الخاصة.
  • الحفاظ على مستوى النظافة التشغيلية المطلوبة وفقاً لجداول التنظيف في جميع الأوقات.
  • الإلمام بسياسات وإجراءات المطعم المتعلقة بالصحة والنظافة والسلامة من الحرائق والتأكد من التزام المرؤوسين بها.
  • التعرف على مخارج الطوارئ وإجراءات الإخلاء.
  • الامتثال لمدونة قواعد السلوك الخاصة بالشركة.
  • التعرف على قيم الشركة ونمذجة السلوكيات المرغوبة.
  • تنفيذ المهام التي يوجهها الإدارة سعياً لتحقيق أهداف العمل.

POSITION OBJECTIVE The Kitchen Steward is required to maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas in a clean and sanitary manner by following the cleaning schedules and adhering to the Health & Hygiene Regulations and Company policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out duties as assigned, also refer to cleaning schedules and perform the necessary duties.
  • Collect the appropriate cleaning materials and equipment from the Supervisor.
  • Check equipment daily to ensure they are in good working condition and promptly report any defects/malfunctions to the Supervisor or a senior person.
  • Assist in the set up and break down of service areas for all special functions
  • Cleans stoves, ovens, grills, refrigerators, and using cleaning solutions, brushes and wash cloths.
  • Washes utensils, such as pots, pans, and trays by hand using cleaning detergents. Washes dishware, glasses, and cutlery by hand or machine. Occasionally polishes utensils. Drains dries and stacks items after washing.
  • Transports food supplies, such as meats, vegetables, fruits, and canned foods from storeroom or freezer, using trolley/basket to kitchen. Returns surplus food to storeroom or freezer.
  • May assist with food preparation, such as blending soups, washing and peeling vegetables and shellfish.
  • Assist in the set up and break down of service areas for all special functions Health, Safety and Security
  • Maintain the required standard of operational hygiene according to cleaning rotas at all times.
  • Be aware of the Restaurant policies and procedures relating to health, hygiene, and fire life safety and ensure your direct reports do the same.
  • Familiarize with emergency exits and evacuation procedures. General
  • Comply with the company's corporate code of conduct.
  • Familiarize yourself with te company values and model desired behaviors.
  • Perform tasks as directed by the Management in pursuit of the achievement of business goals.
