Refractory Mason

We are looking for a Refractory Mason to perform refractory brick installation, maintenance, and repair activities for rotary kilns, preheaters, and related equipment, ensuring reliable operation and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect refractory brick lining and identify damaged areas requiring repair or replacement.
• Install, repair, and replace refractory bricks in kilns, preheaters, and associated equipment.
• Prepare refractory materials, mortar, and concrete mixes for installation and maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret drawings and work instructions to execute refractory maintenance tasks.
• Support concrete casting and refractory maintenance activities during shutdowns.
• Perform preheater cleaning and basic maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
• Assist in preparing and operating equipment used for refractory maintenance.
• Monitor kiln condition and report any abnormalities affecting plant operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Industrial High School diploma or equivalent, or a Technical Diploma in a related field.
• Industrial High School: 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Technical Diploma: 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in refractory brick installation and kiln maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and safely use refractory installation tools and equipment.
• Experience in cement plants or heavy industrial environments is an advantage.
