• Serves as a role model to the students demonstrating best clinical practice and providing positive learning experiences.
• Be familiar with the practical sessions learning outcomes.
• Works with Program Director, Head of Department, and module coordinator to plan, implement and evaluate students’ learning experience.
• Utilizes appropriate teaching methods to help the students meet their learning outcomes under supervision of the course instructors.
• Ensures students safety and infection control measures in the skill lab and clinical training venues.
• Checks and records daily attendance of the students during scheduled sessions.
• Guides the students in preparing and organizing their case study for the case-based discussion.
• Helps and organizes assessing and monitors the student’s performance related to their knowledge, skills and attitude using the evaluation tool and criteria inserted in the clinical portfolio.
• Provides a variety of patient encounters necessary for an appropriate learning experience and assists students in performing history taking and physical examination under their supervision in clinical skill labs and clinical training venues.
• Guides students in writing their reflection.
• Monitors the students’ performance and provides effective, descriptive, and immediate constructive feedback to them under supervision of the course instructors.
• Provides Head of Department and Program Director with report on specific issues and concerns related to the students’ performance and attitude in the skill lab and clinical training venues.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Experience:

At least 2 years related experience.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in MBBS (BSc)

Language:

Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.
