Role Description The Painting Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. This role oversees all painting activities on industrial and construction sites, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating painting crews and subcontractors. The Painting Manager monitors surface preparation, application methods, and finishing quality to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and relevant industry codes. Daily responsibilities include reviewing work orders and drawings, providing technical guidance to the team, inspecting completed work, and resolving any site or quality issues. The role collaborates closely with project management, procurement, and safety teams to manage materials, equipment, timelines, and reporting, while continuously improving productivity and workmanship.

• Strong experience in industrial or commercial painting management, including supervision of crews and coordination of on-site activities.
• Solid knowledge of surface preparation techniques, coating systems, application methods, and quality control procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for multi-phase painting projects.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and best practices relevant to painting, scaffolding, and work-at-height environments.
• Effective leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on mentoring and performance improvement.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, including coordination with project managers, clients, and other site stakeholders.
• Experience in industrial sectors such as oil and gas, energy, process plants, or construction is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar and adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, construction, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
