Job Role
The Oversight Specialist is responsible for Surveillance, monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing the performance of FAD Maintenance and outsourced maintenance providers. This role ensures that all Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul activities meet regulatory, safety, and contractual standards, safeguarding the operational reliability and airworthiness of flyadeal’s fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections during maintenance activities to assess progress and adherence to GACA, FAA, EASA, and flyadeal standards.
• Conduct Surveillance to ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards
• Conduct unannounced Spot Check to assess the immediate state of operations, tools, documentation, or facilities to address observed gaps promptly.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to response time, defect resolution, and maintenance quality.
• Log findings in AMOS, categorize issues based on severity, and ensure proper traceability of observations.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and share them with management and key stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and escalate non-conformities and unresolved discrepancies.
• Track the implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions by AMO/ MRO providers.
• Participate in periodic reviews of contracted providers to assess reliability, compliance, and overall performance.
• Provide data-driven recommendations regarding contract renewals, modifications, or terminations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to identify opportunities for improving outsourced maintenance processes.
• Recommend procedural enhancements to drive efficiency and strengthen provider performance.

Requirements*

• GACA License or equivalent with Airframe and Power Plant rates.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance,
• Strong knowledge of A320 aircraft maintenance practices and operational standards.
• Solid understanding of GACA, FAA, or EASA regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in AMOS or equivalent maintenance tracking software.
• Experience in SLA implementation and performance monitoring.
