Role Description<

The Family Medicine Consultant | Senior Registrar is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care to individuals and families, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing individualized care plans, and coordinating referrals with other specialties as needed. The role also includes participating in clinical audits, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, supervising and mentoring junior medical staff, and maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation. The consultant or senior registrar is expected to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, continuity of care, and adherence to clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.

• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Family Medicine, with valid licensure or eligibility to practice in Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated experience in providing evidence-based primary care across all age groups, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
• Strong clinical decision-making, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex cases and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Proficiency in medical documentation, use of electronic health records, and adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams in a culturally diverse environment.
• Experience in teaching, supervising, or mentoring junior medical staff or trainees is highly beneficial.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, participation in clinical audits, and engagement in quality improvement initiatives.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
