Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Paramedic role based in Riyadh. The Paramedic will provide high-quality pre-hospital emergency care, including patient assessment, stabilization, and safe transport in accordance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, performing advanced life support interventions as authorized, documenting care accurately, and maintaining medical equipment and supplies in ready-to-use condition. The Paramedic will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, communicate effectively with patients and families, and participate in training, drills, and quality improvement initiatives. The role also involves strict adherence to infection prevention, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines while delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive care.

Qualifications

• Current paramedic certification or license recognized in Saudi Arabia, with valid BLS and ACLS (PALS/ITLS/ATLS or equivalents are an advantage).
• Demonstrated skills in emergency patient assessment, triage, basic and advanced life support, and safe patient transport.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting emergency medical equipment (e.g., defibrillators, ventilators, monitoring devices) and maintaining ambulance readiness.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to perform under pressure, make sound clinical decisions quickly, and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
• Knowledge of infection control, health and safety standards, and documentation requirements in pre-hospital and emergency care settings.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Emergency Medical Services or a related field; prior field experience as a paramedic or EMT is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
