Job Title : Architecture Landscape Draftsman

Department : Engineering- Design

Report's To : Engineering Manager

Location : Qiddiya, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Availability : Immediately ( Required Only )

Job Summary

The Architecture/Landscape Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate architectural and landscape design/shop drawings, construction documents, and technical details using CAD and BIM software. The role supports architects and landscape architects throughout the design and construction process by producing high-quality drawings that comply with project requirements, applicable codes, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural and landscape drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and construction details using AutoCAD, Revit, and drafting software.
• Develop detailed hardscape, softscape, grading, irrigation, planting, and site layout drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes, consultant comments, and client feedback.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and landscape disciplines to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Prepare presentation drawings, layout plans, and technical documentation for design submissions.
• Assist in preparing permit, tender, and construction documentation.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper document control procedures are followed.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and assist in preparing material schedules when required.
• Support site teams by preparing as-built drawings and incorporating site modifications into project documentation.
• Organize and maintain project files, CAD standards, and drawing templates.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture, Drafting Technology, Landscape Architecture,
• Minimum of 7 years of drafting experience in architectural and/or landscape projects.
• Experience in infrastructure , roads ,landscape.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
• Working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, Civil 3D, or BIM software is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Lumion is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of architectural and landscape construction drawings.
• Knowledge of grading, irrigation, planting plans, and hardscape detailing.
• Excellent attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
• Ability to interpret sketches, specifications, and design concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good time management and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
