Evaluate the market through robust market research assessing market and industry trends and business development opportunities for SABIL, translating the data into meaningful insights contributing to the organization's overall business development, growth, and success.

Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis

• Execute market and industry research to understand the market trends, and competitor strategies, driving strategic planning across SABIL and benefitting from potential opportunities.
• Evaluate local and global trends impacting SABIL’ industries, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics, providing insights for proactive decision-making.
• Assess the impact of market and industry challenges and opportunities, implementing strategic actions approved by management to optimize SABIL' performance.
• Analyze changes in local and global regulations affecting the grain industry, ensuring a proactive approach to compliance and strategic adaptation.
• Utilize insights gained to provide recommendations to management on which new markets and/or partnerships to pursue, in line with SABIL’ mission, vision, and values based on market analysis outcomes.

Forecasting and Predictive Analysis

• Analyze data to forecast and predict future trends, by implementing models and methodologies for accurate trend identification across the grain supply industry.
• Evaluate and predict the performance of existing and new solutions/ practices in the market, providing recommendations for refinement and adjustments based on predictive analysis enhancing product success across SABIL.
• Identify opportunities for market expansion through predictive analysis, to strategically position the organization for sustained growth and capitalize on emerging trends in the industry.

Competitive Intelligence

• Adopt market intelligence tools and analytics to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant data, providing valuable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
• Analyze industry competitors, such as their plans and pricing, their strategic initiatives, and distinguishing factors that influence their competitive positions to provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making and market positioning.
• Support the competitive benchmarking process by comparing SABIL's Key Performance Indicators, identifying similarities, and strategically leveraging strengths for enhanced performance.

Data Interpretation and Strategic Recommendations

• Combine research findings into actionable recommendations and insights contributing to the development and business growth of SABIL.
• Interpret data accurately to derive insight supporting SABIL’ decision-making regarding market penetration and development.
• Offer comprehensive assistance in comprehending the implications of data points, trends, patterns, and other factors that could potentially impact SABIL' growth and competitive standing in the market.

Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures

• Ensure implementation and adherence to established policies, systems, and procedures so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years' prior industry-related business development experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
• Focused and goal-oriented
• Fluent in English
