Saudi German Health - Hail Branch is looking for an experienced IP Services Manager to lead and optimize Inpatient Services operations across the hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient patient flow, effective bed management, smooth admission and discharge processes, and an exceptional patient experience while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all Inpatient Services operations, including Admissions, Bed Management, Discharge Planning, and Patient Coordination.
- Ensure smooth patient flow from admission to discharge while maximizing bed utilization and operational efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and service standards related to inpatient operations.
- Collaborate closely with Nursing, Medical, Case Management, RCM, and other clinical and non-clinical departments to enhance patient care and operational performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient throughput, occupancy rates, discharge turnaround times, and patient satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and develop the IP Services team to ensure high performance and service excellence.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Handle patient concerns and service recovery initiatives to maintain a positive patient experience.
- Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in hospital operations, patient affairs, admissions, discharge management, or inpatient services.
- Previous leadership experience within a hospital setting is required.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, patient flow management, and hospital accreditation standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Microsoft Office applications.
