نبذة عن الوظيفة

هذه الوظيفة مخصصة لخريج حديث في بداية مسيرته التدريسية، مع فرصة للتعلم والنمو ضمن قسم داعم. يوفر الدور خبرة في تدريس اللغة العربية و/أو الدراسات الإسلامية لمختلف الأعمار، إلى جانب العمل عن كثب مع معلمين ذوي خبرة. يحمل المنصب عبء تدريسي مخفف ومرن، مما يسمح بوقت للتطوير المهني والإرشاد، مع زيادة تدريجية في المسؤولية مع اكتساب الثقة والخبرة. نظراً لكون المدرسة ناشئة وبتعداد طلاب متغير، فإن الدور يهدف بشكل أساسي إلى توفير المرونة ودعم الجودة العالية والحفاظ على نسب قوية من المعلمين إلى الطلاب.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • دعم تقديم مواد اللغة العربية والدراسات الإسلامية والدراسات السعودية عبر مراحل الطفولة المبكرة والمرحلة الابتدائية و/أو المرحلة الثانوية حسب الخبرة واحتياجات المدرسة.
  • العمل مع متحدثين أصليين وغير أصليين للغة العربية، إما بقيادة مجموعات صغيرة أو بتقديم دعم داخل الفصل.
  • المساعدة في تقسيم الفصول، أو التدريس المشترك، أو تقديم دعم إضافي داخل الفصل لتحقيق التمايز الفعال.
  • التدريس في فصول متعددة المستويات، مع التوجيه والدعم التخطيطي من زملاء ذوي خبرة.
  • استخدام اللغة العربية كلغة تدريس أساسية، واستخدام الإنجليزية عند الحاجة، خاصة عند دعم غير الناطقين بالعربية في الدراسات الإسلامية.
  • مواءمة التدريس مع متطلبات المنهج الوطني السعودي مع العمل ضمن إطار البكالوريا الدولية (IB).
  • التصرف بمرونة مع تغير أعداد الطلاب والجداول الدراسية على مدار العام، والمساهمة إيجابياً في الحياة المدرسية عند الحاجة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة جامعية في الدراسات الإسلامية و/أو اللغة العربية (مطلوبة لتلبية المتطلبات الوطنية).
  • الجنسية السعودية (هذه الوظيفة مخصصة للسعوديين كجزء من تنمية المواهب المحلية).
  • إتقان اللغة العربية بمستوى الأم وامتلاك مستوى كافٍ من الإنجليزية لدعم التعلم والتعاون مع الزملاء.
  • الاستعداد لتدريس كل من اللغة العربية والدراسات الإسلامية حسب الحاجة.
  • الانفتاح على العمل عبر مجموعة من الأعمار والمواد والسياقات الصفية.

المهارات المطلوبة

إتقان العربية بمستوى متحدث أصلي، وإنجليزية كافية للتواصل مع الزملاء ودعم التعلم، والقدرة على العمل بمرونة مع طلاب من مختلف الأعمار والخلفيات اللغوية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يُعد الاهتمام أو الخبرة في أي من المجالات التالية ميزة إضافية: دعم المكتبة، اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة إضافية (EAL)، التربية البدنية، صعوبات التعلم أو دعم التعلم (SEN).

This position is designed specifically for a recent graduate at the start of their teaching career who is eager to learn, grow, and develop within a supportive department. The role provides an opportunity to gain experience delivering Arabic and/or Islamic Studies across a range of ages, while working closely alongside experienced Arabic and Islamic Studies teachers. 

The post carries a reduced and flexible teaching load, allowing time for professional development, mentoring, and gradual increase in responsibility as confidence and experience grow. As a startup school with fluctuating student numbers, the role exists primarily to provide flexibility, support highquality provision, and maintain strong stafftostudent ratios. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Support the delivery of Arabic, Islamic Studies and KSA Studies across Early Years, Primary, and/or Secondary, depending on experience and school needs 
  • Work with native and nonnative Arabic speakers, either leading small groups or supporting within the classroom 
  • Assist in splitting classes, coteaching, or providing additional inclass support to allow effective differentiation 
  • Teach in multigrade settings, with guidance and planning support from experienced colleagues 
  • Use Arabic as the primary language of instruction, with English used where appropriate, particularly when supporting nonArabic speakers in Islamic Studies 
  • Align teaching with Saudi national curriculum requirements while working within the school’s International Baccalaureate (IB) framework 
  • Act with flexibility as student numbers and timetables evolve throughout the year 
  • Contribute positively to wider school life where needed, particularly when teaching hours are lower

Essential requirements 

  • Degree in Islamic Studies and/or Arabic (required to meet national expectations) 
  • Saudi nationality (this position is reserved for Saudi nationals as part of our commitment to local talent development) 
  • Nativelevel Arabic and sufficient English to support learning and collaborate with colleagues 
  • Willingness to teach both Arabic and Islamic Studies, depending on need 
  • Openness to working across a range of ages, subjects, and classroom contexts 

Highly valued (but not essential) 

Due to the flexible nature of the role, interest or experience in any of the following will be an advantage: 

  • Library support 
  • English as an Additional Language (EAL)

  • SEN or learning support
