Batterjee Medical College is seeking a qualified and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to provide primary healthcare and emergency medical services to students, faculty, and staff within the College campus.

The General Practitioner will be responsible for assessing and treating common medical conditions, providing immediate medical care during emergencies, determining appropriate referrals, and promoting a safe and healthy campus environment. The role also supports preventive healthcare, health awareness, emergency preparedness, and compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and institutional policies.

• Provide general medical consultations, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students, faculty, and staff.
  
• Assess and manage common acute illnesses, minor injuries, and other health concerns within the scope of general practice.
  
• Provide immediate medical assessment and emergency care for health-related incidents occurring on campus.
  
• Stabilize emergency cases and determine when escalation, ambulance activation, or referral to a hospital or specialist is required.
  
• Prescribe and administer medications in accordance with professional scope of practice and applicable regulations.
  
• Perform appropriate clinical examinations and basic medical procedures as required.
  
• Monitor patients with existing or chronic medical conditions and provide appropriate medical advice and follow-up.
  
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, consultation notes, incident reports, referrals, and other required documentation.
  
• Ensure emergency medical equipment, medications, and clinic supplies are available, properly maintained, and ready for use.
  
• Participate in campus emergency preparedness, risk assessments, emergency response protocols, and drills.
  
• Support infection prevention and control measures and provide guidance on communicable disease management when required.
  
• Deliver health education and awareness initiatives related to preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyles, hygiene, and wellness.
  
• Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, ambulance services, and other healthcare providers for referrals and continuity of care.
  
• Coordinate with Security, Student Affairs, Administration, and other relevant departments during medical emergencies.
  
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with professional, institutional, and regulatory requirements.
  
  
  
  

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent recognized medical degree.
  
• Valid professional classification and registration as a General Practitioner with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  
• Valid BLS certification is required.
  
• ACLS certification is preferred.
  

• Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience as a General Practitioner.
  
• Experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, outpatient clinics, or occupational/school health is preferred.
  
• Demonstrated ability to independently assess and manage common medical conditions and respond effectively to medical emergencies.
  

• Strong general clinical assessment, diagnosis, and patient management skills.
  
• Sound knowledge of primary healthcare and emergency medical protocols.
  
• Ability to make timely and appropriate clinical decisions, including referrals and emergency escalation.
  
• Ability to remain calm and effective during medical emergencies.
  
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Excellent clinical documentation and record-keeping skills.
  
• High standards of medical ethics, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.
  
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal and external healthcare stakeholders.
  
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
