تعلن شركة KBR, Inc. (KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions) عن توفر وظيفة سائق شاحنة ثقيلة في الجبيل، المنطقة الشرقية، المملكة العربية السعودية.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- نقل البضائع من نقطة إلى أخرى لتوزيعها أو بيعها أو شرائها.
- فحص الشاحنة للتأكد من سلامتها واتباع تعليمات السلامة، خاصة عند نقل المواد الخطرة أو الكيماوية.
- المسؤولية عن حالة المركبة والكشف عن أي أعطال.
- فحص الحمولة للتأكد من تحميلها بشكل صحيح.
- مراجعة جميع مستندات الشحن اللازمة.
- العمل مع سائق إضافي عند الحاجة للتخفيف من ضغط القيادة لفترات طويلة.
- الامتثال لجميع إجراءات السلامة والصحة والبيئة (SHE) قبل وأثناء العمل.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في مجال القيادة.
- لياقة بدنية جيدة نظراً للحاجة للبقاء على الطريق لأيام دون راحة.
- معرفة بكيفية صيانة الشاحنة في حال تعطلها.
- الالتزام بالمواعيد والجدول الزمني لضمان نقل البضائع في الوقت المحدد مع اتباع إجراءات الحيطة عند نقل المواد الخطرة أو الهشة.

He may have to transport supplies, hazardous chemicals, manufacturing equipment.

KBR is looking for an Heavy Truck Driver- A truck driver works either for a company or under independent contracts who transports different types of merchandise from one place to another in a truck, van or any vehicle capable of carrying large loads. He may have to transport supplies, hazardous chemicals, manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility of a truck driver is to haul cargo from one point to another so that they can be distributed, bought or sold
- inspect trucks for safety and follow the safety instructions, especially when carrying hazardous materials or chemicals
- He is also responsible for the condition of his vehicle and look for any malfunctioning part
- He must inspect the cargo to check whether it has been loaded correctly
- He must also review all the necessary shipping documents
- Some truck drivers get an extra driver who works under him and drives in shifts to take off the pressure from one driver.
- Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures.
- Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions
- Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in his field
- drivers need to be in good physical condition as they sometimes need to be on the road for days without rest
- They should have knowledge of how to maintain the truck, in case it breaks down in the middle of nowhere
- They must be punctual and follow the schedule in order to transport the merchandise on time
- They must also be very careful and follow the precautionary measures when carrying hazardous or fragile materials
