Job Description

As a Facade Engineer on our consultant team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of facade design and construction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate facade systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
• Review and assess facade design proposals, ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections during construction to verify that facade elements are installed correctly.
• Address any design discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain quality.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates related to facade design and construction.
• Review all contractor received documents during project execution (e.g. Shop dwgs, material submittals, calculation ….etc)
• Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members.
• Troubleshoot facade-related challenges during construction.
• Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and innovative facade solutions.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations based on best practices.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in facade design or construction supervision.
• Proficiency in relevant design software and tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
