Fixed Assets Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Assets Supervisor to oversee all fixed asset accounting activities and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of fixed asset records throughout their lifecycle. This role will be responsible for asset capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals, reconciliations, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain fixed asset records, ensuring accurate recording of acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
• Oversee asset capitalization and depreciation processes in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Perform and review fixed asset reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor capital expenditures (CAPEX) and ensure compliance with approved budgets and authorization limits.
• Lead physical asset verification exercises, asset tagging, and asset count activities.
• Oversee asset transfer and disposal transactions, ensuring proper accounting treatment and documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets.
• Prepare periodic fixed asset reports and analyses for management review.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide all required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies related to fixed assets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Fixed Assets Accounting and Financial Accounting.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets Module.
• Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Mass Additions process.
• Proven experience in asset counting, asset tagging, and asset reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting, capitalization, depreciation, and asset lifecycle management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Previous experience in the Fitness, Retail, or Hospitality sector is highly preferred.
• Power BI knowledge is an added advantage.
