Job Description
FAENA The Red Sea is seeking an energetic and dependable
Housekeeping Runner (Saudi National) to join our Housekeeping team. This role plays a vital part in supporting the day-to-day operation of the department by ensuring housekeeping supplies, linen, amenities, and equipment are delivered efficiently throughout the resort. Working closely with Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, Laundry, and other operational teams, the Housekeeping Runner helps maintain the exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation, and service that define the FAENA experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver linen, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies to guest floors and operational areas.
- Restock housekeeping pantries, storage rooms, and service areas throughout the shift.
- Assist with the movement and distribution of clean linen across the resort.
- Collect soiled linen and waste from designated areas.
- Support Room Attendants and Public Area Attendants with operational requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of pantries, corridors, storage rooms, and back-of-house areas.
- Assist with deep-cleaning projects and special housekeeping initiatives.
- Support guest room preparation and turndown operations as required.
- Respond promptly to housekeeping and guest requests.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.
- Assist in tracking and organising linen and housekeeping inventories.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, and safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure housekeeping equipment and supplies are stored safely and correctly.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Laundry, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in Housekeeping, Hospitality, Customer Service, or a similar role is preferred.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of housekeeping operations is advantageous.
- Physically able to lift, carry, and move supplies throughout the shift.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support operational needs.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
