We are seeking an experienced Red Hat & Linux Infrastructure Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in RHEL, Red Hat Satellite, OpenShift, Linux HA/clustering, virtualization, automation, and enterprise Linux infrastructure. The role involves managing, securing, optimizing, and supporting mission-critical 24/7 production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize RHEL 7/8/9, including provisioning, patching, upgrades, hardening, and lifecycle management.
• Manage Red Hat Satellite for patching, repositories, software deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Support Red Hat OpenShift, RHV, VMware, Linux HA, and clustering environments.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage Linux services including Apache, JBoss, Samba, DNS, DHCP, and SFTP.
• Develop automation using Ansible and Shell scripting.
• Monitor infrastructure using Satellite, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, ELK, and Nagios.
• Support Zerto-based DR, replication, failover, and recovery testing.
• Support Linux storage, filesystems, virtualization, and enterprise data center operations.
• Conduct RCA for complex incidents and support 24/7 production environments.
• Develop SOPs, operational procedures, architecture documents, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Red Hat, VMware, vendors, application, security, and infrastructure teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8-11+ years of enterprise Linux/Red Hat experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with RHEL, Red Hat Satellite, OpenShift, Linux HA/clustering, and RHV.
• Working knowledge of VMware virtualization and enterprise virtualized environments.
• Strong knowledge of Ansible, Shell scripting, Linux security hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with Zerto, Linux storage, monitoring, and enterprise data center operations.
• Experience in 24/7 mission-critical environments; banking, telecom, or regulated industries preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Certifications

• RHCSA / RHCE
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
• VMware certification is an advantage
• Relevant Linux, cloud, virtualization, or DR certifications
