The Consultant, Plant Maintenance & EAM is responsible for the design, configuration, support,
optimization, and continuous improvement of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset
Management (EAM) solutions across the organization. The role supports maintenance planning, work
management, preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment management, asset reliability, shutdown
management, and maintenance-related reporting processes. The consultant works closely with Maintenance,
Operations, Engineering, Warehouse, and Finance teams to maintain and enhance SAP ECC and SAP
S/4HANA Asset Management capabilities while supporting the organization’s digital transformation and
asset management roadmap. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support, configure, and optimize SAP PM and EAM solutions across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA 
environments. 
• Work with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Operations, Warehouse, and Finance teams to gather 
requirements and deliver business solutions. 
• Configure and maintain equipment, functional locations, maintenance plans, task lists, work orders, 
notifications, and preventive maintenance processes. 
• Support enterprise asset management, maintenance planning, shutdown activities, asset lifecycle 
management, and reliability improvement initiatives. 
• Support SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Asset Management transformation initiatives, including fit-gap 
analysis, testing, migration, cutover, and post-go-live activities. 
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, user guides, and process documentation. 
• Coordinate with technical teams, integration teams, and implementation partners to deliver enhancements 
and resolve complex issues. 
• Support maintenance master data governance including equipment, functional locations, maintenance 
plans, bills of materials, and technical objects. 
• Provide functional support for incidents, service requests, and business process issues.

• Conduct user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and workshops for maintenance and operations users. 
• Support integration between SAP PM/EAM and other SAP modules including MM, FI/CO, PP, QM, and 
external operational systems. 
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance effectiveness, asset reliability, process efficiency, 
automation, and reporting capabilities.

QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, 
Business Administration, or a related field. SAP PM/EAM, SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, or 
relevant maintenance and reliability certifications are preferred. 

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP PM/EAM implementation, support, enhancement, and 
optimization projects. Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, maintenance 
planning, work management, asset lifecycle management, reliability engineering, shutdown planning, and 
maintenance operations is preferred.  
• Good knowledge of FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HR, BW, system integrations, and end-to-end business 
processes.

SKILLS:

 
• Strong knowledge of SAP PM, Enterprise Asset Management, SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, 
maintenance planning, asset lifecycle management, and system integrations.  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, business process improvement, testing, and 
documentation skills.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with 
stakeholders at all levels.  
• SAP PM/EAM, SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, or relevant SAP certifications preferred.  
• Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, reliability engineering, maintenance 
operations, and integration with other SAP modules is an advantage.
