تعلن شركة Bechtel Corporation، إحدى الشركات الرائدة عالمياً في مجال إدارة المشاريع والبناء، عن حاجتها لشغل وظيفة مشرف خزانات (Tanks Supervisor) للعمل في مشروع Ar Rjum بمنطقة دهام، المملكة العربية السعودية. سيتولى المرشح مسؤولية الإشراف على أنشطة المقاولين وضمان تنفيذ أعمال إنشاء الخزانات بأعلى معايير الجودة والسلامة والالتزام بالجداول الزمنية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • مراقبة وتنظيم أنشطة المقاولين من الباطن في مجال الخزانات من خلال التنسيق مع إدارة المقاولين.
  • دعم المشاريع متوسطة الحجم ذات التعقيد المتوسط والمرتفع بمشاركة عدة جهات.
  • مراقبة جداول البناء، ومخططات الموارد، ومتطلبات المواد والمعدات للمقاولين.
  • مراجعة أساليب البناء والجداول ومخططات القوى العاملة للمقاولين.
  • التنسيق بين عمليات البناء والواجهات الخارجية لضمان التوافق مع الجداول الزمنية.
  • مراقبة تركيب المواد والمعدات للتأكد من مطابقتها للرسومات والمواصفات.
  • تنفيذ السياسات والإجراءات وقواعد العمل المعتمدة من إدارة البناء الميداني.
  • دعم مهندسي البناء والمشرفين والعمال في تفسير وثائق التصميم الهندسي ووثائق الموردين.
  • التنسيق مع المقاولين والمشرفين لإيجاد حلول هندسية.
  • التنسيق مع فريق التصميم بشأن قضايا قابلية البناء.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس (أو ما يعادلها دولياً) بالإضافة إلى 8-10 سنوات خبرة ذات صلة، أو 12-14 سنة خبرة عملية ذات صلة.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • قيادة والإشراف على أنشطة إنشاء الخزانات بما في ذلك خزانات الكربون الصلب المنشأة في الموقع، وخزانات تخزين API، وخزانات CIL، وخزانات التكثيف، وتركيبات الخزانات المصنعة في الورش.
  • إدارة وتنسيق المقاولين والقوى العاملة المباشرة والمشرفين والعمال المشاركين في نصب الخزانات واللحام والإكمال الميكانيكي والاختبار والتشغيل.
  • ضمان تنفيذ جميع أعمال إنشاء الخزانات وفقاً للرسومات الهندسية المعتمدة ومتطلبات الموردين ومواصفات المشروع ومعايير API والرموز المطبقة ومتطلبات العميل.
  • مراجعة وتفسير الوثائق الهندسية والفنية وتقديم الدعم الإنشائي وحل المشكلات الفنية المتعلقة بالموقع.
  • تنسيق أنشطة نصب الخزانات بما في ذلك تجهيز الألواح وتجميع الهيكل والسقف والملحقات الإنشائية والوصلات الداخلية والفوهات وواجهات الأنابيب والأعمال الميكانيكية المرتبطة.
  • الإشراف على أنشطة اللحام وضمان الامتثال لمواصفات إجراءات اللحام (WPS) وخطط الفحص والاختبار (ITP) ومتطلبات الجودة ومعايير الصناعة.
  • التنسيق والإشراف على جميع أنشطة الفحص غير الإتلافي (NDE/NDT) بما في ذلك VT وMT وPT وUT وPAUT وRT حسب الاقتضاء، وضمان الإكمال في الوقت المناسب والامتثال لمتطلبات المشروع.

  • تحفيز إنشاء الخزانات باستخدام مبادئ تغليف العمل (Work Packaging) وتخطيط العمل حسب الأنظمة وحدود الاختبار مع إدارة القيود وتوفر واجهة العمل بشكل استباقي.
  • التنسيق مع مهندسي البناء الميداني وفرق الجودة والسلامة والهندسة والمشتريات ومراقبة المشروع للحفاظ على الامتثال لجداول المشروع والميزانيات ومتطلبات الجودة.
  • تطوير وصيانة ومراقبة خطط البناء قصيرة المدى، بما في ذلك جداول النظرة المستقبلية لمدة 3 أسابيع وتوقعات القوى العاملة ومتطلبات المعدات وتوفر واجهة العمل.
  • ضمان تنفيذ متطلبات البيئة والسلامة والصحة (ES&H) للمشروع وخطط إدارة السلامة وعمليات البناء الأساسية للشركة.
  • الإشراف على تخطيط واستخدام أدوات البناء ومعدات اللحام وأجهزة الاختبار والرافعات والمواد الاستهلاكية المطلوبة لأنشطة إنشاء الخزانات.
  • إجراء عمليات تفتيش ميدانية منتظمة لمراقبة تقدم العمل والامتثال للسلامة وجودة اللحام وجاهزية الاختبار وإنتاجية القوى العاملة وأداء البناء العام.
  • دعم متطلبات إعداد التقارير من خلال الحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة لتقدم البناء وحالة اللحام وإكمال NDT وأنشطة الاختبار الهيدروستاتيكي واستخدام القوى العاملة والمشكلات الميدانية.
  • القدرة على إجراء عمليات التفتيش الميدانية المكثفة في بيئات البناء النشطة.
  • القدرة على المشي لمسافات طويلة وتسلق السلالم والسقالات والعمل على ارتفاعات والدخول إلى الأماكن المغلقة حسب الحاجة لفحص الخزانات وأعمال البناء.
  • القدرة على العمل في ظروف مناخية حارة ورطبة نموذجية لمشاريع البناء في الشرق الأوسط.

Project Overview

The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.

The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah - Riyadh highway.

Job Summary

In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders’ involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely.

Major Responsibilities

Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff within the area of responsibility.

Role supports on mid-size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders’ involvement.

Planning

  • Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
  • Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
  • Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.

Safety / Quality

  • Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
  • Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.

Technical

  • Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
  • Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
  • Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.

Education And Experience Requirements

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge And Skills

  • Lead and supervise tank construction activities, including site-erected carbon steel tanks, API storage tanks, Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) tanks, thickener tanks, and shop-fabricated tank installations, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality execution.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, direct-hire workforce, foremen, and craft professionals involved in tank erection, welding, mechanical completion, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure all tank construction works are executed in accordance with approved engineering drawings, vendor requirements, project specifications, API standards, applicable codes, tolerances, and client requirements.
  • Review and interpret engineering, vendor, and technical documentation, providing construction support and resolving field-related technical and constructability issues.
  • Coordinate tank erection activities including plate fit-up, shell and roof assembly, structural attachments, internal installations, nozzles, piping interfaces, and associated mechanical works.
  • Oversee welding activities and ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), project quality requirements, and applicable industry standards.
  • Coordinate and monitor all Non-Destructive Examination (NDE/NDT) activities including VT, MT, PT, UT, PAUT, and RT as applicable, ensuring timely completion and compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage hydrostatic testing, leak testing, settlement monitoring, cleaning, preservation, and final acceptance activities for tanks and thickeners.
  • Coordinate heavy lifting, rigging, and erection activities associated with tank construction, ensuring compliance with approved lift plans, rigging studies, crane capacities, critical lift requirements, and project safety procedures.
  • Drive tank construction utilizing Work Packaging principles, planning work by systems and test boundaries while proactively managing constraints and work-front availability.
  • Coordinate with Construction Field Engineers, Quality, Safety, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Controls teams to maintain compliance with project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor short-term construction plans, including 3-week look-ahead schedules, manpower forecasts, equipment requirements, and work-front availability.
  • Ensure implementation of project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) requirements, Safety Management Plans, and company core construction processes.
  • Oversee the planning and utilization of construction tools, welding equipment, testing equipment, cranes, and consumables required for tank construction activities.
  • Conduct regular field inspections to monitor work progress, safety compliance, welding quality, testing readiness, workforce productivity, and overall construction performance.
  • Support project reporting requirements by maintaining accurate records of construction progress, welding status, NDT completion, hydrotest activities, manpower utilization, and field issues.
  • Ability to perform extensive field inspections within active construction environments.
  • Capable of walking long distances, climbing ladders and scaffolding, working at heights, and accessing confined spaces as required for tank inspection and construction activities.
  • Ability to work in hot and humid climatic conditions typical of Middle East construction projects.
  • Must be capable of using all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) associated with assigned construction activities
