About the Role

We are seeking a qualified I&C Engineer to join our I&C Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned preventive, predictive, corrective, troubleshooting, and emergency maintenance activities for I&C assets while ensuring compliance with quality, EHS, maintenance, and cyber-security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant I&C instruments.

• Execute preventive maintenance activities, including inspections and testing of DCS control systems and instruments.

• Order I&C parts and supplies through MAXIMO when required.

• Update I&C drawings, prints, and Standard Job Instructions (SJIs) as changes are made and obtain the required approval.

• Maintain accurate and traceable I&C maintenance records.

• Maintain and control outage, servicing, and testing reports for I&C instruments.

• Plan and manage the utilization and performance of I&C maintenance resources to meet business requirements.

• Support the training and development of I&C Technicians and Trainees in accordance with SJIs and maintenance procedures.

• Maintain a clean and safe workshop and plant environment.

• Ensure compliance with applicable quality, environmental, HSE, cyber-security, and safety requirements.

• Perform I&C measurements, troubleshooting, performance testing, and safety-related activities.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required by the I&C Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in I&C Engineering or Electronics.

• 3 years of experience in power and desalination plant work, or 5-6 years of proven experience in I&C Engineer roles.

• Familiarity with cyber-security and NESA requirements.

• Experience with I&C/electronic drawings and prints, logic/PLC diagrams, DCS logic, and loop/interconnection diagrams.

• Hands-on experience in I&C measurements, troubleshooting techniques, performance testing, and safety measures.

• Familiarity with MAXIMO is preferred.
