About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and implementing planned preventive, predictive, corrective, troubleshooting, and emergency maintenance activities for electrical assets while ensuring compliance with quality, HSE, and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical apparatus, control systems, switchgear, motor control centers, batteries, battery chargers, UPS systems, transformers, and generators.

• Execute preventive maintenance activities, including inspections and testing of switchgear, motor control centers, switches, breakers, and other electrical equipment.

• Plan and schedule electrical maintenance tasks to meet departmental and business requirements.

• Update electrical drawings and prints as changes are made and obtain the required approval.

• Order electrical spare parts and supplies through MAXIMO when required.

• Maintain and control equipment maintenance records and data sheets.

• Maintain and control outage, servicing, and testing reports for electrical equipment.

• Maintain a clean and safe workshop and plant environment in accordance with safe work practices.

• Support the training and development of the Electrical Maintenance team in accordance with Standard Job Instructions (SJIs) and maintenance procedures.

• Perform electrical measurements, troubleshooting, performance testing, and safety-related activities.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required by the Electrical Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical power and desalination plant work, or 5-6 years of proven experience in Electrical Engineer roles.

• Experience in reading and designing electrical drawings and systems.

• Hands-on experience in electrical measurements, troubleshooting techniques, performance testing, and safety measures.
