Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for managing and optimizing GEO, MEO, and LEO satellite network performance to ensure service quality, capacity, efficiency, and customer experience. The role holder establishes performance standards, analyses trends, drives optimization initiatives, and coordinates corrective actions to improve network reliability, utilization, and SLA compliance. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedure.
Job Responsibility
- Establish and standardize satellite-enabled network performance management processes across STC Group, including unified KPI/KQI/SLA definitions, measurement methodologies, thresholds, and formula validations to support effective service assurance and optimization.
- Analyze GEO/MEO/LEO network and service performance trends across domains to identify degradations, conduct performance assessments, recommend optimization initiatives, and support long-term service improvement plans.
- Prepare and maintain periodic performance dashboards and reports covering satellite network health, availability, utilization, latency, service quality, and customer experience KPIs, while ensuring vendor/MSP compliance and regulatory (CST) reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular GEO/MEO/LEO network and service performance audits, including KPI/KQI validations, and service quality assessments, to proactively identify customer experience and operational performance gaps.
- Support and coordinate RCA activities related to satellite service performance degradations, ensuring proper escalation, corrective actions, and restoration follow-up with relevant stakeholders.

- Provide architectural recommendations and blueprint inputs to support medium- and long-term satellite network performance enhancements in coordination with infrastructure planning and design teams.
- Optimize GEO/MEO/LEO satellite routing and beam management dynamically to ensure optimal coverage, minimize latency, and maximize throughput.
- Optimize capacity and load balancing across GEO/MEO/LEO constellations to efficiently distribute traffic, reduce congestion, and maintain SLA compliance.
- Enhance inter-satellite link (ISL) optimization to improve mesh network efficiency, reduce hop counts, and lower propagation delays for Sat-based services.
- Conduct continuous RF spectrum optimization to mitigate interference, optimize bandwidth allocation, and ensure efficient spectrum utilization in GEO/MEO/LEO bands.
- Optimize ground station selection and handover mechanisms to ensure seamless connectivity as LEO satellites move in and out of coverage areas.
