شركة WSP في الشرق الأوسط تبحث عن مهندس معماري أول/رئيسي للمناظر الطبيعية (Senior/Principal Landscape Architect) للانضمام إلى فريق النقل والبنية التحتية في مكة وجدة، السعودية. هذا دور تقني قيادي مسؤول عن إدارة تسليم تصميم المناظر الطبيعية لمشاريع البنية التحتية وتطوير الأراضي واسعة النطاق.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة تطوير حزم تصميم المناظر الطبيعية من مرحلة المفهوم وحتى التصميم التفصيلي ودعم مرحلة البناء.
  • تقديم التوجيه التصميمي والإشراف الفني على أعمال المناظر الطبيعية المرتبطة بالطرق والطرق السريعة والمجال العام وممرات المرافق وتنسيق الشوارع ومشاريع تطوير الأراضي.
  • ضمان أن تكون تصاميم المناظر الطبيعية وظيفية ومستدامة وملائمة للسياق وتتوافق مع رؤية المشروع وأهداف العميل.
  • التنسيق الوثيق مع فرق الطرق والمرافق والصرف والهياكل والإضاءة والتصميم الحضري والبيئة لضمان حلول تصميم متكاملة بالكامل.
  • إدارة الواجهات بين تصميم المناظر الطبيعية والتخصصات الهندسية الأخرى لحل النزاعات وتحسين مخرجات التصميم.
  • مراجعة واعتماد الرسومات الفنية والمواصفات والجداول الزمنية والتقارير لضمان الجودة والامتثال.
  • العمل كنقطة اتصال رئيسية للعملاء والجهات المحلية فيما يتعلق بقضايا المناظر الطبيعية.
  • قيادة مراجعات التصميم وورش العمل الفنية واجتماعات الجهات لدعم الموافقات ومواءمة أصحاب المصلحة.
  • ضمان الامتثال للمعايير والإرشادات وعمليات الموافقة ذات الصلة.
  • تقديم الدعم الفني خلال مرحلتي المناقصة والبناء، بما في ذلك مراجعة مستندات المقاولين والرسومات التنفيذية وعينات المواد.
  • إجراء مراجعات التصميم وزيارات الموقع حسب الحاجة لضمان الامتثال لنية التصميم.
  • ضمان استيفاء أعمال المناظر الطبيعية لمعايير الجودة والسلامة والاستدامة.
  • قيادة وتوجيه وتطوير مهندسي المناظر الطبيعية والموظفين الداعمين داخل الفريق.
  • تعزيز الممارسات المثلى والابتكار والتحسين المستمر في تخصص المناظر الطبيعية.
  • دعم تخطيط الموارد وإدارة عبء العمل وتطوير القدرات الفنية.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في هندسة المناظر الطبيعية (يفضل درجة الماجستير).
  • خبرة مهنية تتراوح بين 9 و15 عامًا في هندسة المناظر الطبيعية، مع تركيز قوي على تنسيق الشوارع والمجال العام ومشاريع البنية التحتية وتطوير الأراضي.
  • خبرة واسعة في تسليم المشاريع السعودية بما في ذلك التنسيق والموافقات مع الجهات المحلية.
  • قدرة مثبتة على قيادة وتنسيق فرق متعددة التخصصات في بيئة استشارية.
  • فهم قوي للمعايير المحلية ومتطلبات المجال العام وتصميم المناظر الطبيعية المرتبط بالبنية التحتية.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • مهارات قيادية ممتازة.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Landscape Architect to join our Transport & Infrastructure business unit in Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a senior technical role responsible for leading the landscape design delivery of large-scale infrastructure and land development projects.

The successful candidate will bring design leadership and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple disciplines to deliver fully integrated, high-quality landscape solutions aligned with authority requirements and project objectives.

Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Technical Oversight

  • Lead the development of landscape architecture design packages from concept through detailed design and construction support stages.
  • Provide design direction and technical oversight for landscape works associated with roads, highways, public realm, utilities corridors, streetscape, and land development projects.
  • Ensure landscape designs are functional, sustainable, contextually appropriate, and aligned with project vision and Client objectives.


Project Delivery & Multidisciplinary Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with roads, utilities, drainage, structures, lighting, urban design, and environmental teams to ensure fully integrated design solutions.
  • Manage interfaces between landscape design and other infrastructure disciplines to resolve conflicts and optimise design outcomes.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports to ensure quality and compliance.


Client & Authority Engagement

  • Act as a key point of contact for Clients and local authorities on landscape-related matters.
  • Lead design reviews, technical workshops, and authority meetings to support approvals and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and approval processes.


Construction Support & Quality Assurance

  • Provide technical support during tendering and construction stages, including review of contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
  • Conduct design reviews and site visits as required to ensure compliance with design intent.
  • Ensure landscape works meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards.


Leadership & Mentoring

  • Lead, mentor, and develop landscape architects and support staff within the team.
  • Promote best practice, innovation, and continuous improvement within the landscape discipline.
  • Support resource planning, workload management, and technical capability development.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 9-15 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a strong focus on streetscape, public realm, infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Extensive experience delivering Saudi projects, including authority coordination and approvals.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong understanding of local standards, public realm requirements, and infrastructure-related landscape design.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
