WSP في الشرق الأوسط تبحث عن مهندس معماري أول/رئيسي للمناظر الطبيعية (Principal Landscape Architect) للانضمام إلى وحدة أعمال النقل والبنية التحتية في الرياض، المملكة العربية السعودية. هذا دور فني قيادي مسؤول عن قيادة تصميم المناظر الطبيعية في مشاريع البنية التحتية وتطوير الأراضي واسعة النطاق.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

نبحث عن مهندس معماري متمرس للمناظر الطبيعية ليتولى دوراً قيادياً فنياً في الرياض. سيكون المرشح الناجح مسؤولاً عن قيادة تقديم تصاميم المناظر الطبيعية في مشاريع البنية التحتية وتطوير الأراضي واسعة النطاق، مع القدرة على التنسيق الفعال بين التخصصات المتعددة لتقديم حلول مناظر طبيعية متكاملة وعالية الجودة تتماشى مع متطلبات الجهات المعنية وأهداف المشروع.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة تطوير حزم تصميم المناظر الطبيعية بدءاً من المفهوم وحتى التصميم التفصيلي ومراحل دعم الإنشاء.
  • تقديم التوجيه التصميمي والإشراف الفني لأعمال المناظر الطبيعية المرتبطة بمشاريع الطرق والطرق السريعة والفضاءات العامة وممرات المرافق وتنسيق الشوارع وتطوير الأراضي.
  • ضمان أن تكون تصاميم المناظر الطبيعية وظيفية ومستدامة ومناسبة للسياق ومتوافقة مع رؤية المشروع وأهداف العميل.
  • التنسيق الوثيق مع فرق الطرق والمرافق والصرف الصحي والهياكل والإضاءة والتصميم الحضري والبيئة لضمان حلول تصميم متكاملة تماماً.
  • إدارة الواجهات بين تصميم المناظر الطبيعية والتخصصات الهندسية الأخرى لحل التعارضات وتحسين نتائج التصميم.
  • مراجعة واعتماد الرسومات الفنية والمواصفات والجداول والتقارير لضمان الجودة والامتثال.
  • العمل كنقطة اتصال رئيسية للعملاء والجهات المحلية في الأمور المتعلقة بالمناظر الطبيعية.
  • قيادة مراجعات التصميم وورش العمل الفنية والاجتماعات مع الجهات لدعم الموافقات ومواءمة أصحاب المصلحة.
  • ضمان الامتثال للمعايير والإرشادات وعمليات الموافقة ذات الصلة.
  • تقديم الدعم الفني خلال مرحلتي المناقصة والإنشاء، بما في ذلك مراجعة مستندات المقاول والرسومات التنفيذية وعينات المواد.
  • إجراء مراجعات التصميم وزيارات الموقع حسب الحاجة لضمان الامتثال لنية التصميم.
  • ضمان أن أعمال المناظر الطبيعية تلبي معايير الجودة والسلامة والاستدامة.
  • قيادة وتوجيه وتطوير مهندسي المناظر الطبيعية وموظفي الدعم داخل الفريق.
  • تعزيز الممارسات الأفضل والابتكار والتحسين المستمر في تخصص المناظر الطبيعية.
  • دعم تخطيط الموارد وإدارة عبء العمل وتطوير القدرات الفنية.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في هندسة المناظر الطبيعية (يفضل درجة الماجستير).
  • 9-15 سنة من الخبرة المهنية في هندسة المناظر الطبيعية، مع تركيز قوي على مشاريع تنسيق الشوارع والفضاءات العامة والبنية التحتية وتطوير الأراضي.
  • خبرة واسعة في تنفيذ مشاريع سعودية، بما في ذلك التنسيق مع الجهات والحصول على الموافقات.
  • قدرة مثبتة على قيادة وتنسيق فرق متعددة التخصصات في بيئة استشارية.
  • فهم قوي للمعايير المحلية ومتطلبات الفضاءات العامة وتصميم المناظر الطبيعية المرتبطة بالبنية التحتية.
  • مهارات ممتازة في القيادة والتواصل وإدارة أصحاب المصلحة.
  • القدرة على إدارة مشاريع وأولويات متعددة في وقت واحد.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Landscape Architect to join our Transport & Infrastructure business unit in Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a senior technical role responsible for leading the landscape design delivery of large-scale infrastructure and land development projects.

The successful candidate will bring design leadership and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple disciplines to deliver fully integrated, high-quality landscape solutions aligned with authority requirements and project objectives.

Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Technical Oversight

  • Lead the development of landscape architecture design packages from concept through detailed design and construction support stages.
  • Provide design direction and technical oversight for landscape works associated with roads, highways, public realm, utilities corridors, streetscape, and land development projects.
  • Ensure landscape designs are functional, sustainable, contextually appropriate, and aligned with project vision and Client objectives.


Project Delivery & Multidisciplinary Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with roads, utilities, drainage, structures, lighting, urban design, and environmental teams to ensure fully integrated design solutions.
  • Manage interfaces between landscape design and other infrastructure disciplines to resolve conflicts and optimise design outcomes.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports to ensure quality and compliance.


Client & Authority Engagement

  • Act as a key point of contact for Clients and local authorities on landscape-related matters.
  • Lead design reviews, technical workshops, and authority meetings to support approvals and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and approval processes.


Construction Support & Quality Assurance

  • Provide technical support during tendering and construction stages, including review of contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
  • Conduct design reviews and site visits as required to ensure compliance with design intent.
  • Ensure landscape works meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards.


Leadership & Mentoring

  • Lead, mentor, and develop landscape architects and support staff within the team.
  • Promote best practice, innovation, and continuous improvement within the landscape discipline.
  • Support resource planning, workload management, and technical capability development.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 9-15 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a strong focus on streetscape, public realm, infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Extensive experience delivering Saudi projects, including authority coordination and approvals.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong understanding of local standards, public realm requirements, and infrastructure-related landscape design.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
