Job Description
At
SLS The Red Sea, every memorable dining experience begins before the guest arrives at the table. As an
F&B Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of connection for guests planning their dining experience - handling reservations with accuracy, warmth, and the distinctive personality of SLS.
From recommending the right venue and responding to guest enquiries to managing bookings and capturing individual preferences, you will work closely with our F&B teams to ensure every reservation is thoughtfully coordinated and every guest arrives feeling expected and welcomed.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle restaurant reservations through phone, email, and designated reservation systems in a professional and timely manner.
- Respond to guest enquiries and provide accurate information about dining venues, menus, operating hours, promotions, and available experiences.
- Manage new reservations, amendments, cancellations, and special requests accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate reservation records, guest profiles, preferences, and relevant notes to support personalized service.
- Communicate clearly with guests and confirm reservation details to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Coordinate closely with restaurant and F&B teams regarding reservations, special occasions, guest preferences, and operational requirements.
- Handle guest requests, enquiries, and concerns professionally, ensuring appropriate follow-up when required.
- Support effective table and reservation management to maximize restaurant occupancy and revenue opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to recommend suitable dining experiences and promotions based on guest preferences.
- Maintain clear and professional communication across all guest interactions, reflecting SLS service standards.
- Ensure guest information and reservation details are handled accurately and confidentially.
- Stay updated on restaurant concepts, menus, promotions, special events, and relevant hotel experiences.
- Follow departmental procedures, service standards, and reservation policies at all times.
- Support the wider F&B team with reservation-related tasks and operational requirements when needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a qualification in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Reservations, Guest Relations, Front Office, F&B Operations, or a similar guest-facing role.
- Good command of spoken and written English is required.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with a warm and professional approach.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with restaurant reservation systems; experience with POS systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy when managing reservations and guest information.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and reservations efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and guest-focused, with a genuine interest in creating seamless dining experiences.
- Previous experience within a luxury or lifestyle hospitality environment is an advantage.
