Primary Skills

Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux)

• Installation, configuration, patching, and administration of Linux servers.
• Performance tuning, capacity management, and troubleshooting.
• User, group, filesystem, LVM, NFS, DNS, SSH, and networking administration.
• Security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and audit compliance.
• Shell scripting and automation for operational activities.

Red Hat OpenShift

• Administration and support of OpenShift 4.x environments.
• Cluster deployment, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Management of Projects, Routes, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, PV/PVCs.
• OpenShift RBAC, SCC, authentication, and security controls.
• Monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting platform issues.
• Experience with Operators, Helm Charts, Container Registries, and CI/CD integrations.
• Support for application deployments and containerized workloads.

Secondary Skills

WSO2 API Gateway / API Manager

• Administration and support of WSO2 API Manager.
• API publishing, lifecycle management, and security policies.
• Troubleshooting API gateway issues, integrations, and performance bottlenecks.
• SSL certificate management and API monitoring.

WSO2 Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Identity provider administration and authentication management.
• SSO, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML integrations.
• User provisioning, role management, and access control support.
• Security troubleshooting and compliance support.

Strapi CMS

• Administration and maintenance of Strapi-based applications.
• User, role, and content management support.
• API configuration and troubleshooting.

Apache Camel

• Support and troubleshooting of enterprise integration solutions.
• Route development understanding and monitoring of integration services.
• Performance optimization and incident resolution.

Redis

• Administration and support of Redis clusters.

• Deployment, administration, and support of ELK environments.

• Performance tuning and capacity planning.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Linux, OpenShift, and middleware platforms.
• Monitor infrastructure and application health, ensuring SLA adherence.
• Resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within agreed timelines.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
• Support application deployment activities and production releases.
• Coordinate with Development, Network, Security, Database, and Infrastructure teams.
• Manage platform upgrades, patches, certificates, and security compliance activities.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 10-12 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on OpenShift administration experience.
• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise middleware and API platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
• Red Hat OpenShift Administrator (EX280)
• Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• ITIL Foundation
• WSO2 Certifications (Preferred)
