Roles and responsibilities

• Supervise daily open‑pit mining operations including drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, dumping, and road maintenance.
• Lead field‑level safety compliance, toolbox talks, risk control verification, and pre‑start coordination.
• Ensure execution of the approved mine plan, daily priorities, and operating instructions.
• Coordinate contractor manpower, equipment deployment, and shift readiness.
• Monitor production performance, delays, equipment utilization, and operational constraints.
• Inspect work areas, haul roads, dumps, ramps, berms, signage, and access controls for safety compliance.
• Escalate unsafe conditions, deviations, equipment issues, and contractor non‑compliance.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, production records, safety observations, and structured handover notes.
• Support incident investigations, audits, inspections, and emergency response activities.

Desired Candidate profile

• Engineering Degree in Mining.
• Minimum 8 years experience in the mining industry.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Mining Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of open‑pit mining operations and contractor supervision.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and safety management skills.
• Must be willing to relocate to a remote mining site in Saudi Arabia.
