Key Responsibilities

1. Provides advice on the management, operation, and performance monitoring of all the organization’s applications, and manages the systems requirements related to them within the organization in an effective manner. In addition, provides the necessary support and maintenance for the applications.
2. Recommends on the management and operation of technical solutions and ensures their compliance with business requirements and that they operate in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreements.
3. Provides advice on carrying out support activities related to transferring releases from the development environment to the production environment, and consequently from the development team to the operations team, by ensuring that all key milestones, including documentation, technical environment, knowledge transfer, and update plan, are reviewed and agreed upon among the relevant teams.
4. Provides advice on providing second-level support, if required, for incidents and technical issues.
5. Recommends on providing operations and support for solutions, electronic channels, services, and technical infrastructure, including the maintenance and support of solutions, once the solutions are transferred to the live production environment.
6. Recommends on managing the release and deployment of Information Technology solutions and services into the production environment.
7. Recommends on transferring new Information Technology solutions and services to the production environment.
8. Provides advice on leading the overall maintenance and monitoring of solutions to maintain Service Level Agreements.
9. Contributes to participating in the impact assessment of proposed changes and updates to technical solutions.
10. Recommends on providing assistance in functional testing and operational testing (if required), and access control for solutions and databases.
11. Recommends on providing second-level support to beneficiaries of electronic platforms and services with regard to issues related to them and responding to any inquiries submitted by users.
12. Recommends on providing technical assistance to the organization’s employees with regard to electronic services.
13. Provides advice on planning and implementing upgrades / patches for operating systems and infrastructure updates for systems related to applications.
14. Provides advice on the process of maintaining application server operating systems and other key management and operational software installed on them.
15. Recommends on coordination and follow-up with service providers and suppliers in the event of any failures, and follows up with them to ensure that such failures are resolved.
16. Contributes to preparing periodic reports on the department’s activities and achievements and proposals for improving its performance.
17. Complies with the organization’s work controls and conduct, cybersecurity policies, and procedures specific to the organizational unit.
18. Performs any other tasks assigned by direct supervisors.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a relevant field.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or any related field.
