Due to continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Director to lead and develop its Supply Chain function.

About the Role

The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for developing and executing the overall Supply Chain strategy, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of materials, products, services, and resources required to support residential compound operations.

The role will oversee Procurement, Sourcing, Warehouse, Inventory, Supplier Management, and Logistics, while ensuring strong governance, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and business continuity.

The successful candidate will lead a Supply Chain team of 13 employees, including 2 Procurement Managers and 1 Warehouse Manager, in addition to the wider Supply Chain, Procurement, and Warehouse team. The role will provide strategic direction, leadership, and performance management across the function.

The Supply Chain Director will work closely with senior leadership and key business functions, including Operations, Property Management, Finance, and Projects, to ensure that Supply Chain activities effectively support the operational requirements of the residential compounds and the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall Supply Chain strategy aligned with the organization's business and residential compound operational objectives.
• Lead and oversee Procurement, Sourcing, Warehouse, Inventory, Supplier Management, and Logistics activities.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of 13 employees, including 2 Procurement Managers and 1 Warehouse Manager.
• Establish clear objectives, KPIs, performance standards, and development plans for the Supply Chain team.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing and procurement strategies to achieve cost optimization while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, contractors, and strategic partners.
• Lead supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, performance management, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the timely availability of materials, products, equipment, and services required to support residential compound operations.
• Establish and monitor Supply Chain KPIs, service levels, cost targets, inventory levels, and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and strengthen Supply Chain resilience.
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels and effective inventory control across residential compound requirements.
• Oversee warehouse operations and ensure proper inventory control, storage, availability, and distribution processes.
• Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, contracts, and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Property Management, Finance, Projects, and other departments to understand business requirements and ensure effective supply planning.
• Drive continuous improvement across Procurement, Warehouse, and Supply Chain processes.
• Prepare regular management reports covering Supply Chain performance, cost savings, supplier performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
• Drive digitalization and the effective use of technology and systems to improve Supply Chain visibility, control, and efficiency.
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and value optimization without compromising quality or service levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Logistics, or related functions, with significant leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading a Supply Chain function at a Director or senior management level.
• Experience within residential compounds, property management, hospitality, real estate, facilities management, or a similar service-oriented environment is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing Procurement and Warehouse functions and leading multi-disciplinary Supply Chain teams.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with demonstrated experience in cost optimization and strategic sourcing.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced residential compound environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, Supply Chain governance, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Supply Chain/Procurement management systems.
