About Hemab

Hemab is building preventative treatments for serious, underserved bleeding disorders. These are therapies designed to work with the body's own biology and stop bleeds before they start, instead of treating them after they happen. We're patient-first, science-led and clinical-stage, with a pipeline that takes different scientific approaches to different patient needs.

We went public via our 2026 IPO, and we're scaling across two homes: Cambridge, MA, USA, and Copenhagen, Denmark.

The role

Rare bleeding disorders including Glanzmann Thrombasthenia and Factor VII deficiency are an important part of the healthcare picture across the GCC. As our Medical Science Liaison for the Middle East, you'll build Hemab's scientific relationships with clinicians, investigators and patient communities across the region, while bringing what you learn in the field back into our development and medical affairs work. An immediate priority will be supporting SOLARA site activation and investigator engagement in Saudi Arabia.

What you'll do

• Build trusted, peer-level scientific relationships with hematologists, investigators and care teams across GCC tertiary referral centres and specialist networks.
• Support SOLARA site activation and investigator engagement in Saudi Arabia, working closely with Development and Medical Affairs colleagues.
• Gather and translate field insights into clear input for study recruitment, evidence generation, endpoint relevance and regional medical strategy.
• Lead balanced, data-led scientific exchange around Hemab's science and the rare bleeding disorders relevant to our pipeline.
• Identify potential study sites and investigators, bringing regional knowledge to feasibility and recruitment planning.
• Build relationships with patient organisations and professional societies to deepen Hemab's understanding of patient needs and barriers to care.
• Translate complex scientific and clinical data for different regional audiences, including clinicians, researchers and relevant health authorities.
• Establish effective field medical ways of working for the GCC as Hemab's presence in the region develops.

What you'll bring to Hemab

• Experience as an MSL or in a comparable field medical or scientific liaison role, with evidence that you can work credibly with specialist clinicians and investigators.
• Existing experience working with GCC tertiary referral centres, hematology specialists or regional health authorities.
• Strong scientific grounding and the ability to explain complex clinical and mechanistic data clearly and accurately.
• Experience supporting clinical trials - including site engagement, feasibility, recruitment or investigator relationships.
• Evidence that you can gather useful field intelligence and turn it into actionable input for internal development or medical teams.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with the ability to conduct scientific exchange in both languages.
• Based in either the UAE or Saudi Arabia, with the ability and willingness to travel extensively across GCC markets and internationally when required.

Nice to have

• Experience in hematology, rare disease, coagulation or a closely related therapeutic area.
• Experience building field medical capabilities in a small or growing biotech, including supporting trial site activation in the Middle East.

What to expect, honestly

Hemab is still building a lot of its own structure. Systems here tend to get created as we need them, not handed down in advance. Whoever takes this role will likely build some of their own ways of working instead of inheriting a finished model. We work across two hubs and multiple time zones, and this role adds a broad regional territory, so bridging that well takes real, deliberate effort. Because we're growing quickly, priorities can shift with less notice than they would at a larger, more established company.

This is the actual shape of working somewhere at this stage: it's genuinely energising for the right person and genuinely frustrating for the wrong one. If you want a place where the operating manual is already written, this might not be it. If you want to help write it, this might be exactly it.
