Job Summary:

Job Title: Associate Product Engineer / Engineering Trainee

Work Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Department: Wholesale Banking / Digital Transformation Banking

We are seeking motivated, high-potential graduates to join our core Banking Technology & Delivery Team in Riyadh. As an Associate Product Engineer, you will undergo structured technical training through our iSkill 2.0 program, working directly alongside senior implementation teams on mission-critical digital banking products deployed across leading Saudi financial institutions

This role offers a unique opportunity to build hands-on expertise in enterprise software engineering, cloud technologies, AI integrations, and digital banking implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development & Integration: Participate in the design, development, and enhancement of digital banking modules using Java/J2EE, Cloud architectures, and Web technologies.
• Client Onboarding & Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams on client-facing deployments, solution integrations, and functional configurations at customer sites.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist in unit testing, integration testing, and bug fixing to ensure application performance, security, and scalability meet banking industry standards.
• AI & Modern Tool Adoption: Utilize modern AI development tools to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Continuous Learning: Actively complete self-driven modules on the iSkill 2.0 Learning Platform to gain certifications in cloud, backend development, and domain banking practices.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a recognized university.
• Experience: Fresh Graduate (0 - 1 year of experience).

Technical Knowledge (Foundational):

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and core Java / J2EE.
• Exposure to modern Web Technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs).
• Awareness of Cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Academic exposure or interest in AI technologies, modern LLM coding frameworks (e.g., Claude), and software delivery lifecycles.

Key Skills & Aptitude:

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Fast learner with a high level of curiosity and self-drive.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced enterprise software environment.
