Role Description The Senior Technical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Asir Region. This role is responsible for overseeing technical aspects of construction projects, including reviewing designs and drawings, coordinating with project managers and site engineers, and ensuring work complies with engineering standards, codes, and client specifications. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing technical documentation, conducting site visits and inspections, resolving design and technical issues, and supporting tender and estimation activities with accurate technical input. The Senior Technical Engineer collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, liaises with consultants and clients, and provides guidance to junior engineers to maintain high-quality execution and timely project delivery. The role also involves monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and recommending practical engineering solutions to improve efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong background in civil or construction engineering, with experience in managing technical aspects of building and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts, and in preparing technical reports and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with site supervision, inspections, quality control, and compliance with local regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work with project managers, site teams, consultants, and clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional certification or registration is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on practical and cost-effective solutions.
• Prior experience working in the Asir Region or similar environments, and familiarity with regional construction practices, is beneficial.
