About The Role:

We are establishing our Jeddah branch and seek an experienced Branch Manager to lead its development. The role is primarily market-facing, with the majority of effort directed toward business development within Jeddah, supported by head office in technical delivery, staffing, and administration.

As a newly established office, the position carries a broad operational responsibility. During the initial phase the Branch Manager will assume responsibilities across the full range of branch activity - commercial, technical, and administrative - with the scope of the role narrowing progressively as the team expands in line with workload. The position therefore requires a candidate with strong commercial capability, sound knowledge of the Jeddah market, and the flexibility to operate effectively in a developing office environment. Compensation includes a performance-based component linked to branch results.

Responsibilities:

• Grow the client base in Jeddah across government, developer, contractor, and private clients.
• Develop and maintain business relationships on behalf of the company.
• Actively pursue new opportunities and convert them into signed work.
• Monitor tenders and coordinate submissions with head office.
• Prepare and follow up on prequalification documents, proposals, and client presentations.
• Handle branch correspondence, client registrations, and portal submissions.
• Oversee branch operations and project delivery, and supervise branch staff.
• Follow up on invoicing and collections with clients.
• Step in directly on project and administrative work as needed, particularly in the branch's early stages.
• Report to head office on pipeline, performance, and forecasts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Established experience in a business development, client-facing, or managerial capacity within engineering consultancy.
• Practical working experience in Jeddah and a sound understanding of the local market.
• Demonstrated record of developing client relationships and securing new work.
• Capacity to work across a broad range of functions within a small and growing office.
• Self-directed, with the ability to operate independently while reporting to head office.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
